GRAPHIC ARTIST INTERNSHIP

Skunkfunk is a men’s and women’s contemporary clothing line out of Spain. Our US office is in San Francisco. We are seeking a detail oriented and reliable graphic artist who knows
Photoshop, Illustrator and flash. You will have multiple ongoing projects doing photo manipulation, product shots, website updating and maintenance, as well as creating email blasts, and marketing material.

The work environment is fun and friendly, but the intern we need must be VERY focused and reliable. If you are serious, please email me your resume as well as some sample work you have done in all 3 programs listed.

CounterPULSE is one of San Francisco's leading venues for cutting-edge,
interdisciplinary performance. Our interns experience a lively and bustling work environment at the heart of the Bay Area's arts community, gaining essential hands-on work experience, making valuable contacts, and participating in the leadership of the organization. 4 Month Internships (Mid Sept-Mid Jan) are available in the following three areas:

Program Intern
15 hrs/week $400 stipend
Production & Outreach Intern
7-10 hrs/week $300 stipend

Program Internship
Our program interns learn valuable skills in arts administration through "hands on" experience. They play a pivotal role in and out of the CounterPULSE office, assisting our Program Manager with all aspects of administration, and are a key member of the staff.

Production and Outreach Internship
Our production and outreach interns assist in all aspects of production and promotion for our individual seasons of programming. They work closely with our Outreach and Development Coordinator, and with artists, to execute all aspects of production and publicity. This position is ideal for working artists wishing to learn skills in self-production and general outreach.

Summary:
Forests Forever, a San Francisco non-profit forest-protection organization, seeks an Information Designer to serve as webmaster and designer of print publications for consumption by Forests Forever’s staff, contributors, foundations, the media, and the public at large.

Responsibilities:
Design and maintain web site. Design, develop and lay out print publications, including the semi-annual newsletter The Watershed and Major Donor Bulletin using provided copy, along with other mailers, flyers and in-house forms as needed. Assist in oversight of printing and mailing services. Develop and maintain materials for e-mail alert list and associated on-line member outreach and fundraising. Develop and maintain graphic and artwork library. May be called upon to help prepare audio-visual presentations such as slide shows, videos, films, radio feeds, posters, overheads, table displays or other graphics. Develop and maintain audio-video clips and other graphical utilities on the web site and new HTML email alerts. Other tasks as assigned.
