Hello DAI Students,
The Design and Industry Department has submitted course proposal changes and have been approved and will take effect Summer 2009/Fall 2009.
The following course changes take effect Summer 2009:
Course/Changes Made
DAI 406 The Course Prefix Number has been changed to DAI 360
DAI 424 The Course Prefix Number has been changed to Course DAI 420
DAI 427 Description of the course has been changed.
DAI 521 Title & Course Prefix Number have been changed to
"DAI 421 Technical Drawing 2: 3-D Solid Modeling"
DAI 523 Course Title change to “Information Design 1”
Course Proposal that takes effect starting Fall 2009:
DAI 324 Title Change to "Research and Writing for Design" and this course is being designated as GWAR (Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement) course starting Fall 2009. Taking this course in the Fall means that it would fulfill major core foundation requirement but also satisfy the University UD Written English Proficiency if taken Fall 2009 or after.
Note: You will start to notice that these changes will be reflected in all of our handouts such as contracts/advising sheets/our web site and online bulletin slowly throughout the summer.
