2009 Young at Art
Industrial Design Outreach @ the 2009 Young at Art Festival
Come help the Industrial Design Outreach program and the students of Thurgood Marshall Academic High School celebrate their work and the work of other young artists throughout San Francisco Unified School District at the 2009 Young at Art Festival. This 23-year tradition will showcase the inspiration and creativity inherent in our youngest San Franciscans.

Kimball Education Gallery, Koret Audiotorium
Among the featured projects will be the 2009 Community Bench created by iDo and the students of Thurgood Marshall Academic High School. By designing and fabricating panels that represent their community, these students created their own unique community within the classroom, and learned how to participate as active community members in the neighborhood, city, and within themselves.
