Tyler “Ty” Musgrave is a newcomer to the VR medium, experienced restorative justice (RJ) practitioner, public servant, globe-trotter, and futurist. She proudly hails from the East Coast and is an alumnus of the Quaker-rooted experiential learning travel school, LIU Global College. Before relocating to the Bay Area at the beginning of 2018, Tyler served in the US Peace Corps in Cameroon, West Africa. Her current exploits include participating in an XRStudio fellowship at Mozilla, working as a Restorative Justice Circle Keeper in the Bay Area, and building RestorativeVR, an immersive Restorative Justice VR platform, and coordinating operations at Mursion VR. Tyler is very interested in diverse storytelling, the intersection of VR/AR technologies and social justice movements, and the potential that restorative justice practices hold for design and UX research.
