MICA proudly welcomes four Steinmetz Designers-in-Residence this year, Cheryl D. Miller ‘74, Maurice Cherry, Deyane Moses ‘19, ‘21, and Tasheka Arceneaux-Sutton. Miller, who is known for her diversity, equity, and inclusion advocacy for Black graphic designers, will deliver two important lectures at MICA.

On April 6, Miller will discuss the legacy and future of Black graphic design in conversation with Maurice Cherry and Deyane Moses.

On April 15, a second lecture will occur with Miller and Tasheka Arceneaux-Sutton, who will present an intimate look at the Black woman in design’s hidden history.

The talks will be streamed live on MICA’s FaceBook page for the public. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/voices-black-graphic-design-history-series-april-6-april-15-tickets-147782560617?aff=estw
