School of Design 4+1 MA Program Application Deadline Extended!

The School of Design has a new 4+1 degree program which allows students to earn a Master's degree in Design in as little as 1 extra year of study. The original deadline for this program was April 1st, but due to schedule disruptions and closures, we have extended the deadline until Monday May 4, 2020.

Students interested in the 4+1 program should contact Prof. Hsiao-Yun Chu (hychu@sfsu.edu) to complete the required plan of study document. Students will also need a faculty sponsor from within the School of Design. Please read all the application materials to make sure you meet all the criteria* prior to contacting Prof. Chu.
*Students graduating in Spring 2020, Summer 2020, or Fall 2020 are not eligible for this program. This program is open to current first year students in design, or those planning on graduating in Spring 2021 or beyond.
