Swing Therapeutics has received FDA approval for Stanza, the first prescription digital therapeutic for treating fibromyalgia symptoms. The company notes this is "a big step towards meaningfully addressing patient access barriers by making evidence-based, non-drug treatments available to more people."

Nelson Mitchell, head of Product Design and cofounder at Swing is a graduate of the MA Program in Design in the School of Design, class of 2010. Also active on this project was Mantasha Khan, SFSU computer science alum, class of 2021.
