Hannah Wong (she/her) is an Assistant Professor in Design and Disability at the School of Design. Her design and research practice centers around the physical and social belonging of people with disabilities in the public realm. 

She is the founder of Remarcation, a social enterprise design firm focused on information justice and expansive access design. Remarcation has been recognized through the 2024 Adrian Cheng Fellowship at Social Innovation and Change Initiative (SICI) at Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) and as a finalist in the Social Enterprise track of the 2025 New Venture Competition at Harvard Business School (HBS).

Prior to teaching at SFSU, Hannah served as adjunct faculty at Boston Architectural College (BAC) teaching inclusive design. Hannah was the first legally blind student to attend and graduate from the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) where she earned her master’s degree in architecture (M. Arch) with commendation. She holds a B.A. in applied mathematics with a concentration in civil engineering from UC Berkeley.
